Shaking it up

Probably like most of you at times, we got ourselves (or rather I did) into a bit of a rut of doing the same things all the time… Same groups, same park, same activities, same tv programmes, same breakfast, same outfits… Oh my god I’m bored just thinking about our daily activities!!! Partly down to…

Shaving foam… Embrace the mess

I’m not one for dealing with mess very well, it’s almost an OCD kind of thing that I think is connected to my PND… Pens and crayons are a controlled item in our house and I can’t even remember the last time I let them anywhere near paint!!! I’m trying to make a conscious effort…

Moon sand mess

Now… This is easy to make…  8 cups of flour 1 & 1/4 cups of baby oil I used an egg cup to measure it but you can use a larger cup to make more I’m not entirely sure how much I liked this stuff… But you can make your own minds up… It’s messy……

Money for nothing

I’m sure many of you, like me, have a jar of coins… We try to collect all coins not just coppers and then by the end of the year we have some money to put towards Christmas/holidays etc just from emptying our pockets occasionally… My children are too young really to understand the value of…

Poorly pj day

Poorly pj days are the worst of the worst days… 2 poorly children… Tired mummy… Daddy at work… And it’s Raining! But in a weird way there are nice things about it too… I like all the cuddles that come with a poorly pj day… And the strange calm that comes across our house. My children…

Jumping cushions

Omg the whinging and whining has been grating on me today… So was the mess… so was the weather… Urgh, I just wanted to crawl back into bed after a terrible night with a poorly William…  So, what did we do to keep the peace today? Not a lot to be honest… I tidied up…

Popsicle Sticks

I didn’t plan this activity, it just kind of happened this evening… I had bought some waxing spatulas home from work thinking they might make a good craft activity if I ever got time (in reality they would probably have sat in a drawer for the next few years!!)  Lara found them and tipped them…

Straws

Easter Sunday and we were all at my mums for the day… 9 adults and 4 children… We had a lovely day… Waaaayyyy too much chocolate!  Lara and William played really nicely with their cousins Esme and Reuben all day… It wasn’t until about 3pm that we needed to do some entertaining as the toys…

Save the toilet rolls…

Anyone else have a little nightmare who loves to unroll the toilet paper? Well that is what Williams favourite game this morning was!! Haha… Not only the roll that was started but 2 of the new ones waiting on the side 🙄 that’ll teach me for not looking for him when he has gone quiet……

Water Water Everywhere But Not A Drop To Drink

Oh my goodness – this is a subject that I could literally go on about for hours… I’ll try and limit it a bit but prepare to be drowned with ideas!! I’ll stick with indoor activities in this post and do an outside one another time over the summer when the weather is nicer. Water…
